Eplexity recently completed the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Partner Transformation Program (PTP). One of 17 companies to complete the inaugural class, Eplexity completed the two-phase initiative to better serve their government, nonprofit, and education clients with their cloud migration efforts.
The first phase of the program focused on a guided review of our cloud readiness in key business areas to identify the goals we wanted to achieve during the 110-day transformation plan. The second phase of the program included a detailed, customized action plan that provided a blueprint of activities that helped us achieve our goals to build, transform, and optimize our cloud business.
“It’s important that we continually improve our abilities to better serve our customers,” said Eplexity CEO John Clendennen. “Government, nonprofit, and educational institutions face unique challenges, often on limited budgets. With the completion of the AWS Public Sector Transformation Program, we are confident we can better support their IT needs and free them up to focus on their critical growth drivers.”
AWS has created unique technology programs for Public Sector needs:
- Scientific Computing: Helps researchers in government, education or nonprofit institutions spin up the computing resources they need instantly. And qualified researchers can receive data egress waivers to make costs more predictable.
- Open Data: Public sector organizations often hold data sets that could be useful to the public and private sectors alike. AWS helps make this data open and available for the public to discover, access, and use.
- AWS Educate: Provides students and educators with receive free access to AWS technology, cloud courses, training and collaboration tools to build the next generation of cloud technology professionals.
